<description><![CDATA[ <p>Teamspeak 3 has been released to the public but is still in a beta form.  We have been running a TS3 server for the past 3 days and everything seems stable but it's very different from any previous versions of the online communications system.

If you would like to join us on Teamspeak all you have to do is <a href="http://www.battlefieldnations.com/forums/index.php?action=register">register</a> at our <a href="http://www.battlefieldnations.com/forums/index.php?action=register">forum</a> and then fill in a <a href="applications/teamspeak">Teamspeak application</a>.  You will have exclusive access to our Teamspeak server and speak to fellow gamers online.

We are upgrading our resources to coincide with the launch of our new games servers and website features.  Our website and Teamspeak server might be down during the upgrade as we are getting a brand new Dedicated Server with new IPs, new hardware and a new data center.  

<br /><br />

Our servers will be running some of the fastest CPUs and Ram on the market as well as a dedicated 100mbs internet connection that will ensure super fast connectivity while you game with us and use our website.

The =BFN= website has been undergoing some updates that will improve the submission of information to and from our databases.  This will cover our Team Applications, Teamspeak Applications and the Team pages that are due for launch Q1 2010.

We have been painstakingly coding the community site to bring you a more intuitive, flexible and visually appealing layout and interaction so that you can browse and manage your profile or team with ease.  Much of our site is using the latest web technologies and we hope that you find it to your standards.

<description><![CDATA[ <p>It was quiet since the release of the 3rd beta version but now Bernie Tingle who is in charge<br />of the patch development came back to the <a href="http://forums.electronicarts.co.uk/battlefield-2/745701-brief-update.html">EA-UK board</a>. The latest beta is working fine<br />without any big issues he said so it looks like the final version of the patch could be released<br />within the next 7 -14 days.</p>

<p>So far two changes were made since the latest beta :</p>
<p><strong>Black cross hair on the TV guided missiles</strong> </p>
<p>For those who haven't played the beta the TV HUD was changed from white to black but not the crosshair. So it wasn't really an improvement on maps like Dragon Valley. With the final  patch the crosshair will be black too.</p>
<p><strong>Widescreen FoV (Field of View) on widescreen resolutions</strong></p>
<p>Furthermore Bernie Tingle pointed out that the changelog for the final patch will be the largest<br />in history of Battlefield 2. Following you will see things they have been working on.</p>
