Will You Play BC2/ MOH After BF3 Launch? - Aug 07 2011, 17:05

I will play all three, but depends on how I get on with BF3 (When I eventually get it).

ATM, I play BFBC2 the most as I like the game play.
MoH next, still enjoy it but find that the weapons are way out of synch with reality, and hitbox lag kills you after your in cover. These in my opinion are major design flaws which should not be present in a game with Medal of Honor grounding. The first game MOH:AA had none of these and was a far better game imho
I would be interested to know if these are problems in the new game.

I never got MOH. I have played BC2 a few times since October. Once BF3 comes out I doubt I will bother with BC2 again.

I'll be 100% focused on BF3 (I'm currently playing MoH).

My suggestion is to perform a smooth migration, as opposed to a sudden cutoff, to avoid losing players. Start with 30% on BF3 and gradually increase it to 100% over time (say, 10% more budget on BF3 every month, and cut back on BC2 and MoH).

The thing here is that BF3 will probably require a pretty decent graphics card. Also, the game itself won't be cheap during launch and some people might wait for steam sales and such.

With that said, there's nothing better than monitoring the numbers and make decisions based on empirical evidence.

I'll be playing MoH for a long time...at least until April the next year, where I can buy BF3 after I finished my public exams...

i will still play bc2 and moh but my main focus will be bf3

Thanks for all your input, this topic will be left open for the next 2 months so we can get a broader idea of what our community want.

I have a plan, whether or not I can afford to do it... we will see.  Basically we need to judge what is best for the BFN community as a whole but also those who pay and play on the servers the most.

We definitely will not be left behind with BF3, we were very late starting our BC2 servers and MOH was out for a while before we got MOH servers up.  With that, it's been hard for us to keep them seeded and full but they are now very popular.  I'm hoping that having BF3 server from day 1 will mean we will be able to keep them ranking high and full quicker and easier. 

We will need to get more admins on board and soon...
