Battlefield 2 1.50 Patch - Aug 27 2009, 15:03

Battlefield 2 patch 1.5 coming Tuesday September 1st
After nearly a year of development and three public beta tests Battlefield 2 v1.50 is ready for release. The update will be released on Tuesday 1st September at 6pm Europe.

As part of Update 1.50 we are glad to announce that not only is Highway Tampa now a required install included in the update but Euro Forces (Great Wall, Taraba Quarry and Operation Smoke Screen) and Armored Fury (Midnight Sun, Operation Harvest and Operation Road Rage) is now FREE for all Battlefield 2 players. Including the brand new map, Operation Blue Pearl this brings EIGHT new maps that everyone can play and will be added to ranked Battlefield 2 servers world wide. The Booster Pack content is included in the update and has made the file just over 2Gb in size.

  Added Euro Force and Armored Fury as free to play content for all Battlefield 2 players. I had this one but I like it because it will bring some new players on those maps and hopefully some older players will start to play BF2 again
  Occasional connection drops after being on a server a couple of minutes - Fixed Thanks 4 this one very much
  Players can now pass claymores by going prone This is from bf2142 and its good
  Added Battlefield 2142 style prone deviation (going prone will now cause reduced accuracy for a brief period) hmmm a lot of people wouldn't like this
  Fixed the issue where picking up a players kit would cause CTD Hehe don't believe this one!!!
  Changed a PLA FAV to MEC FAV on Road to Jalalabad Whats this?

Yeah, I will have to reinstall it, too. Too bad the patch doesn't come out untilt he 1st as I will be in Nashville with my Dad until the 3rd or 4th. If I get off my duff and get Win7 RTM installed this weekend I should be good to go when I get back, though.

I backed up my browser stuff, documents, drivers, and such.

I got my drive formatted and the RTM installed today. Most everything is installed except for MS Office, but it can wait. I will wait to install BF2 until after I download the patch and burn it off on a disk. I have TeamSpeak installed and working for the first time in a long time.

In the past i worked with alcohol 120% but now i'm using  Blindwrite.
